A Classic Ghost Story

“What she wants is unknown,
but she always comes back,
the spectre of darkness,
the woman in black.”

This is the official teaser trailer for The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe. The movie is due for release February 2012, and I have to say, judging by this clip,
it looks promisingly creepy!

  4. I am so sorry but it didn't scare me as much. I guess its because I am a huge fan of scaring myself silly I have done it too much. But it looks like it is going to be artistic. Would actually watch it.

  5. Hi LuLu,

    Yes, I can't wait, either!!

    Hi Jessica,

    I completely concur!

    Hi Miss Bobo,

Whether or not it's actually scary remains to be seen, I guess. The 1989 version of the film was very frightening, I thought!

Regardless, this movie looks amazing, aesthetically!!

  6. I noticed this trailer on another blog as well, but I'll go ahead and say it here that I'm very excited for this. I love period films and I'm a sucker for ghost stories, so this has my name written all over it.

  9. I just saw something about this on another blog! I was really impressed with the trailer. It looked artistic and well filmed. I liked how the tension was slowly built up.

I love a good ghost story! I also think this is the best Daniel Radcliffe has ever looked!

  10. Hi Justine,

Yes, there's nothing like a child reading a creepy poem to crank up the tension factor, as well!

I've never read the novel, but I really should get around to it.
